Solution
1. A complete re-installation (including Weblogic Server and all FMW
components installed) should be done since the WebLogic Server was not
installed using the right arguments.
2. Once re-installation is completed check if the value of JAVA_USE_64BIT is now 'true'.
3. Run the 'opatch' command again
Important:
The following workaround could be used just for testing purposes but it must be known that any manual change to commEnv.sh script is not supported or certified.
1. Backup and edit the file $<Weblogic_Server_home>/common/bin/commEnv.sh as the 'oracle' user.
2. Set 'JAVA_USE_64BIT' to 'true'.
JAVA_USE_64BIT=true
3. Save the file.
4. Run the 'opatch' command again
